Christmas came early for four Auckland families when Melbourne-based Bradley Ray played Santa with a cause by providing them with the gift of Vodafone Warriors memberships.
Formerly from Rotorua, Bradley, a loyal Vodafone Warriors member, bought four premium family memberships through his business The German Service Shop and asked the club to give them to deserving families who love the club as much as he does.
Club sponsor Flava joined the cause running a promotion urging the community to nominate families who had been through hard times or were doing it tough but were also passionate Vodafone Warriors fans.
When the four families were identified the ultimate was not just delivering the memberships to the lucky recipients but having them presented in person by Vodafone Warriors NRL players Chad Townsend and John Palavi.
It worked a treat. The reactions and the looks on faces said it all.
Thanks to Bradley Ray, Christmas and the coming 2015 NRL season just got a whole lot better.
