Back rowers Bodene Thompson and Ryan Hoffman will line up for the Vodafone Warriors for the first time in the traditional version of the game in today’s NRL trial against the Penrith Panthers at Rotorua International Stadium (3.00pm kick-off).
They both represented the club at the NRL Auckland Nines two weeks ago and will now team up with Ben Henry in a potent starting back row combination.
Penrith’s line-up includes their most experienced campaigners Peter Wallace, Jamie Soward and Brent Kite as well as NRL regulars Dean Whare, Lewis Brown, Jeremy Latimore, James Segeyaro and Elijah Taylor.
