After last week’s zombie invasion the Vodafone Warriors are now warming up for their annual #OnesieParty when they host Canberra at Mount Smart Stadium on Saturday, June 27 (match day sponsor: flava).
Hundreds of Vodafone Warriors members and fans were kitted out in onesies for last year’s inaugural mid-winter bash and are being encouraged to turn out in even bigger numbers this time.

The chance to dress up in onesies for another night of fan fun also serves to support Jammies in June, the campaign run by Vodafone Warriors charity partner Kidz First Children’s Hospital which aims to reduce high rates of preventable illnesses by providing children in need with pyjamas.
Kidz First is again appealing to the public to make donations or to buy new pyjamas to help with the cause (details below).
Members and fans will also be able to donate money and/or new pyjamas at Mount Smart Stadium next Saturday night. There will be drop-off points for pyjamas in the community area in the D Zone at the northern end of the ground and also in the Corporate Lounge in the East Stand. Gold coin donations can be made at all gates.
Kitted out in onesies, Vodafone Warriors Konrad Hurrell, Solomone Kata and Sam Lisone were captured on camera promoting the #OnesieParty theme at Sylvia Park this week.

On Monday, Kidz First ambassadors Manu Vatuvei and Glen Fisiiahi plus team-mates Ben Henry and Albert Vete will join children and caregivers for a special Jammies in June party at the hospital. They’ll be involved a range of activities and will also take time to visit wards to see patients.
A special Vodafone Warriors onesie was marketed for the first time last year and a 2015 design is on sale now.

Vodafone Warriors community relations manager Petrece Kesha encouraged all members and fans to get behind the #OnesieParty theme next Saturday night.
“We had a fantastic response last year with so many members and fans turning up in their onesies and we’re challenging them to do even better this time,” she said.
“It’s a great way of showing support for Jammies in June as well as having some fun on what is a big night for the club.”
