Vodafone Warriors head of medical John Mayhew is progressing well in his recovery from a cardiac arrest on Tuesday night.
The Mayhew family has released this statement today:
John Mayhew had an excellent night in Auckland Hospital as he recovers from his cardiac arrest on Tuesday night.
He is no longer in an induced coma and is progressing well.
John has been talking with his family and is very comfortable.
The family is extremely grateful and humbled by all the best wishes received from so many people. Thank you very much for all your thoughts and support.
