Vodafone Warriors head coach Stephen Kearney talked today about Ben Matulino's return from injury and the next challenge facing the team - the in-form Canberra Raiders.
Kearney yesterday named an unchanged 21-man squad for the trip to Australia's capital city, his mode of operation also unchanged ahead of the seventh-round encounter.
As he has said consistently, the focus for him, for the coaching staff and the players is preparing as well as they possibly can each day for each game.
The Vodafone Warriors fly out tomorrow coming off wins over Gold Coast (28-22) and Parramatta (22-10) to give them a 3-3 win-loss record, matches which have seen them concede a total of just four second half points (none against the Titans and an unconverted try against the Eels).
The Raiders have won three of their last four matches, their last two against the same opponents the Vodafone Warriors have faced. A 46-6 win against Wests Tigers at home was followed by a tight 12-13 loss to Brisbane, a 30-18 victory over Parramatta at GIO Stadium and a 42-16 away win against Gold Coast.
The trip to Canberra is followed by the traditional Anzac Day contest against the Storm in Melbourne before the Vodafone Warriors back up just five days later at home against the Sydney Roosters on April 30.
