For the first time, integrated ticketing will be available across Auckland’s rail network for each of the Vodafone Warriors’ 12 home games at Mount Smart Stadium during the 2018 NRL season.
Vodafone Warriors members as well as fans with pre-purchased tickets to any of the games will have free train travel taking them to Penrose Station from where they will have just a short walk to the stadium.
And after the game, stroll back to the station for the free trip home.
The free Auckland Transport service starts for the Vodafone Warriors’ St Patrick’s Day home game against Gold Coast next Saturday, March 17 (5.00pm kick-off). The service is available on all game days from three hours before kick-off in the NRL match until train services end.
For the second home game – the round five SKYCITY Auckland Double Header on Saturday, April 7 – there will be free access for members and ticket-holding fans not only on rail services but also the Northern Express bus service.
All Vodafone Warriors members and fans need to do is to show bus drivers, train managers or security personnel their match day ticket, electronic ticket or membership card.
So, make the most of it. It’s going to be the easiest and cheapest way to travel to Vodafone Warriors games at Mount Smart Stadium this year.
