Vodafone Warriors head coach Stephen Kearney has made a back row switch for today’s third-round NRL encounter with the Canberra Raiders at GIO Stadium (3.00pm kick-off local time; 5.00pm kick-off NZT).

In his first NRL outing for the club since his only previous appearance in 2014, new signing Agnatius Paasi will start at loose forward.

The switch sees Ligi Sao on the interchange along with Jazz Tevaga, Sam Lisone and Bunty Afoa.

Paasi becomes the sixth new signing used by the Vodafone Warriors so far this season. Peta Hiku, Blake Green, Adam Blair, Tohu Harris and Leivaha Pulu have all featured in the opening two wins over South Sydney and Gold Coast.

In 15 previous meetings at GIO Stadium, the Raiders have won 12 times. The Vodafone Warriors tasted success there in 2014 and 2015 but had a 22-26 golden point loss in 2016 and went down 8-20 in tough grind last season.
