Vodafone Warriors head coach Stephen Kearney has donated a treasure trove of prized jerseys from his personal collection for auction to boost the fundraising drive for "The Great Vodafone Warriors Charity Day" at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday.

As he prepares the Vodafone Warriors for their 19th-round NRL clash against his former Melbourne side, Kearney has provided seven jerseys for auction which each represent major moments from his playing and coaching careers.

Four of the jerseys are now up for auction on Trade Me with bids closing at various times on Sunday.

From his playing career, Kearney has donated a jersey from three of the clubs he represented:

  • His No 12 jersey from the DB Bitter Auckland Warriors' debut season in the Winfield Cup in 1995.
  • Match jersey (with his name on the back) from Melbourne’s 44-6 win over St Helens in the 2000 World Club Challenge in Wigan.
  • Match jersey (with his name on the back) from Hull FC’s 25-24 win over Leeds in the 2005 Challenge Cup final played in front of 74,213 spectators at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

From his Kiwi coaching era, Kearney has donated a jersey from four famous New Zealand triumphs over Australia:

  • A limited edition jersey (half Kiwis and half Kangaroos) signed by both teams from New Zealand’s historic 34-20 win against Australia in the 2008 Rugby League World Cup final in Brisbane.
  • Kiwi jersey with No 6 on the back (the number captain Benji Marshall wore) signed by the New Zealand players from the 16-12 win over Australia in the 2010 Four Nations final in Brisbane.
    • This jersey will be auctioned in the Corporate Lounge on Sunday.
  • Kiwi jersey signed by the New Zealand players from the 22-18 win against the Kangaroos in the 2014 Four Nations final in Wellington.
    • This jersey will be included in the monster raffle (all members and fans can buy raffle tickets at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday).
  • Kiwi jersey signed by the New Zealand players from the 26-12 win over Australia in the 2015 Anzac Test in Brisbane.
