The Melbourne Storm have entered into the spirit of the occasion by donating some fantastic items for “The Great Vodafone Warriors Charity Day” at Mount Smart Stadium tomorrow.
While the Storm are in Auckland as fierce rivals on the field, they’ve come to the party with their contribution towards the prizes on offer in the monster raffle running throughout game day.
All proceeds from the raffle go towards funds being raised to split between Shine, KidsCan, Ronald McDonald House and Paralympics New Zealand.
The Melbourne items featuring among the monster raffle prizes are:
- A replica Storm jersey signed by the full 2018 squad
- A pair of signed boots worn by Melbourne centre Curtis Scott in the SKYCITY Auckland NRL Double Header against Wests Tigers at Mount Smart Stadium on April 7
- A Melbourne replica #6 jersey signed by Cameron Munster which the winner gets to collect on field after the game on Sunday and have their photo taken with Munster and regular Vodafone Warriors #6 Blake Green
“We really appreciate the Storm coming on board for our charity day,” said Vodafone Warriors CEO Cameron George.
“These are three great items that some lucky fans are going to walk away with.
“All we ask now is that everyone at the stadium tomorrow enters the spirit and spends up buying raffle tickets galore. It’s for a fantastic cause supporting our partners.”
Tickets will be available at a booth in the Entertainment Precinct while sellers will also be roaming around the stadium.
