Vodafone Warriors ticket deal for junior league teams

The Vodafone Warriors have today unveiled a special ticketing initiative to help encourage grassroots junior league teams experience NRL live at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday, May 5 when we take on the Newcastle Knights.

The game, which will be one of only two Sunday fixtures in Auckland this year, is the club’s “Kids’ Day Out” with plenty of fun activities for young Warriors supporters.

Off the field, kids will be able to pet animals in the mobile barnyard, participate in an inflatable prize grab, enjoy carnival rides and even draw on a special Mazda BT-50 truck which will be parked in the entertainment precinct.

And to encourage more local juniors to get down to Mt Smart Stadium to watch their heroes in action, the Vodafone Warriors have created a special one-off package for the Knights game.

For just $130, clubs will be able to bring 17 kids and two adults to the football to sit in GA seats and cheer the Vodafone Warriors on. That’s just $5 per child and $15 per adult.

The offer is open to all rugby league teams across the country and the only condition is the players must be 15 or under on January 1, 2019 to qualify for the child pricing.

“Here at the Vodafone Warriors, we are all about grassroots footy,” Vodafone Warriors CEO Cameron George said.

“Your junior league stars are our future and we want to inspire them to one-day play for this mighty club.

“What better way to do that than by having them in the stands on game day and watching Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and the boys take on the Knights.”

Further sweetening the deal, all junior teams that purchase the group package will be invited to march on the field before the NRL kick-off*. The team which brings the best banner to the game will also be given complimentary season tickets for the rest of the season.
