11 Fox Memorial Premiership Qualifiers
Bay Roskill 28 Howick 30
A double to Roydon Gillett proved the difference in a thriller at Blockhouse Bay Reserve, as the Hornets dodged a spirited late comeback from Bay Roskill. The result means Bay Roskill drop down to the Crown Lift Trucks Fox Championship, while Howick go clear at the top of the Premiership.
Mt Albert 23 Northcote 10
The Mt Albert Lions picked up a valuable win over the higher ranked Northcote, to further cement their place in the top four. Up 20-0 at the break, they faced an improved Tigers side in the second half, but a late Mt Albert try and a field goal kicked by Eiden Ackland was enough to finish the job.
Glenora 68 Papakura 16
The Glenora Bears powered through to victory over Papakura at home. Up 32-0 at half-time, the Bears piled on the points in the second spell. Centre Tapulaaia Pauli and fullback Wyatt Rangi scored doubles, while Mose Esera scored a hat trick on the wing.
Marist 21 Otahuhu 20
The Marist Saints produced a big second-half comeback to edge past Otahuhu in a nail-biter at Murray Halberg Park. Down 20-0 at the break, the Saints tied things up with 10 to go before Jack Saena kicked a field goal to win it.
Mangere East 28 Pt Chevalier 50
Five tries to Sam Fa’apito on debut did much of the damage for Pt Chevalier in a high-scoring match. The Pirates scored 30 points inside the first half hour, before Mangere East fought back to make it 30-28 with 15 to go. Pt Chevalier scored a number of tries with James Dowie in the sin bin in the final 10 minutes to blow the scoreline out.
Richmond 26 Manurewa 18
The Richmond Bulldogs squeezed past Manurewa at Grey Lynn Park, after leading 6-4 at the break. The Bulldogs were too strong in the second stanza, with Harrison Sutton and Isaac Ah Kuoi-Atmore standouts for the central Aucklanders.

Ellerslie 56 Northern 4
The Ellerslie Eagles came out firing in the first half to secure a comfortable victory over the Northern Brothers. Up 40-0 at half-time, the Eagles piled on points in the second stanza. Chance Bunce was a standout, scoring a double.
Te Atatu 48 Mt Wellington 22
The Te Atatu Roosters finished the Qualifiers top of the pile after beating the Mt Wellington Warriors at home. Up 23-6 at the break, the Roosters showed a lot of discipline in the second half to go on with the job. Captain Jarrod Tua was strong.
Pukekohe 28 Otara 26
Pukekohe survived a late scare from the Otara Scorpions at Karaka Sports Park after going into the sheds 20-8 up. Otara came back in the final 20 minutes, but fell just short of a dramatic comeback. Pythons' lock Rahs Tuivai-Lopa was a standout scoring a double.
Waitemata 58 New Lynn 16
Hat-tricks to Zachariah Sue-Martin and Suliano Faukafa helped Waitemata secure a convincing win over New Lynn. Leading 24-12 at the break, the Seagulls’ forwards laid a solid platform to dominate in the second stanza. Crete Kereta Sami also stood out, scoring a double, while Te Mahe Hunapo kicked all but one conversion.
Hibiscus Coast 32 Manukau 23
A double to Kavana Tekiri-Ryan helped lift Hibiscus over Manukau and secure the final promotion spot into the Crown Lift Trucks Fox Championship competition. With a depleted side due to injuries, the Raiders managed to lead 18-8 at half-time and were too strong in the second period.
Ponsonby 4 Pakuranga 28
The Pakuranga Jaguars finished the Qualifying series on a high after beating Ponsonby at Victoria Park. The Jaguars kept the Ponies scoreless in the first half to lead 14-0, before doubling their led in the second 40.
