Eels: The Eels will line up 1-17 and are unchanged from last week as they seek to right the ship after the surprise loss to St George Illawarra. Prop Junior Paulo will be fine after a leg niggle. The Storm have outscored the Eels 96-10 in their past two clashes.

Will Smith and Brad Takairangi were omitted from the extended squad 24 hours before kick-off.

Andrew Davey and Haze Dunster were the final cuts an hour before game time.

Storm: With prop Jesse Bromwich suspended, Nelson Asofa-Solomona comes into the starting side and Darryn Schonig is promoted to the bench.

Jahrome Hughes was ruled out on Wednesday with a groin injury and his place is taken by Cooper Johns, who will make his NRL debut.

Sandor Earl replaces Suliasi Vunivalu (broken jaw) on the wing and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui starts at lock for Dale Finucane (calf), with Albert Vete joining the bench.

Marion Seve and Chris Lewis were the last two cut an hour before kick-off.

Winger Josh Addo-Carr has scored five tries in his past four games against the Eels.

Panthers: Penrith will start 1-17 after Mitch Kenny and Billy Burns were the last two players omitted from the squad. Brian To'o's return from an ankle injury delayed at least another week. 

To'o and Matt Burton were omitted from the extended squad 24 hours before kick-off. The Panthers have scored the first try in 13 consecutive games.

Sharks: In big news for the Sharks, halfback Shaun Johnson - who had been battling a groin injury - is out, with Braydon Trindall (No.20) to start at halfback. Johnson and Teig Wilton were the two players left out an hour before the match.

In late positional changes, Toby Rudolf will start at prop, Scott Sorensen at lock and Braden Hamlin-Uele from the interchange bench.

Briton Nikora and Bryson Goodwin dropped off the reserves list on Thursday night. Winger Sione Katoa has scored the most tries by a Sharks player (13) after 14 rounds since Andrew Ettingshausen in 1988.

Broncos: The Broncos are 1-17. With Payne Haas suspended and Tom Flegler out with a shoulder injury, Joe Ofahengaue and Rhys Kennedy form a new front-row pairing. Anthony Milford returns from a hamstring injury in the halves with Brodie Croft dropped. Jordan Kahu replaces Jesse Arthars in the backline with Herbie Farnworth shifting to wing.

Issac Luke starts at hooker for Jake Turpin, who has a broken hand. Ethan Bullemor and Jamil Hopoate are the new faces on the bench. Fullback Darius Boyd has a 25 percent winning record against the Dragons.

Sean O'Sullivan and Croft were omitted from the reserves list 24 hours before kick-off. Jesse Arthars and Pride Patterson-Robati were cut an hour before game time.

Dragons: Interim head coach Dean Young was forced to rejig his first team sheet after second-rower Tyrell Fuimaono was suspended by the judiciary on Tuesday night. Jacob Host moves from the bench into the starting side and Trent Merrin comes onto the interchange. 

Star prop Paul Vaughan has been recalled after his quarantine period ended for a COVID breach, taking Tristan Sailor's bench spot. The Dragons have won their past three games against the Broncos.

Eddie Blacker was cut from the reserves 24 hours before kick-off while Sailor and Brayden Wiliame were the last two omitted an hour before game time.

Titans: Ash Taylor (quad) has been replaced at five-eighth by Tanah Boyd. With skipper Kevin Proctor suspended for biting, Sam Stone has been called up to the second row. Jai Whitbread has been called onto Stone's interchange spot. Halfback Jamal Fogarty will captain the team for the first time.

Raiders: Ryan Sutton, Joseph Tapine and Corey Harawira-Naera start in the forward pack with Dunamis Lui, Josh Papalii and Hudson Young to come off the bench. Lui will make his 150th NRL appearance.

Harley Smith-Shields and Matt Frawley dropped off the reserves list an hour before kick-off while Sam Williams and Kai O'Donnell were omitted from the squad on Friday.

Wests Tigers: Alex Twal and Thomas Mikaele move from the reserves to the interchange, with Sam McIntyre and Chris Lawrence omitted an hour before kick-off after Alex Seyfarth and Asu Kepaoa dropped out of the squad on Friday. Halfback Benji Marshall battled a minor ankle complaint last week but is fine. Tigers second-rower Luciano Leilua has scored four tries in three games at Leichhardt Oval.

Roosters: Brett Morris and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves are set to return from injury in place of Christian Tuipulotu and Mitch Aubusson (fractured wrist) with Nat Butcher shifting to the second row.

Lachlan Lam (ankle) and Luke Keary (ribs) are out with Drew Hutchison and Kyle Flanagan forming a new halves pairing. Freddy Lussick debuts on the bench. Ryan Hall and Max Bailey dropped off the reserves list on game day after Egan Butcher and Sam Walker were the two players left out 24 hours before the match. Robinson will reach the milestone of 200 games as Roosters coach.

Rabbitohs: A late change with Dane Gagai out of the side and his place in the centres taken by Steven Marsters, who came into the squad when the club was given an exemption to bring him into the squad for Jack Johns.

Bayley Sironen has been named to start in the second row in place of the suspended Liam Knight despite being hampered by a leg injury last week.

Corey Allan and Troy Dargan were the two players omitted the day before the game and Jed Cartwright was cut an hour before game time.

Rabbitohs winger Alex Johnston has scored 47 tries in 58 games at ANZ Stadium.

Sea Eagles: Addin Fonua-Blake passed his Friday fitness test and will make an early return from a knee injury in the front row in jersey No.21. Martin Taupau will revert to the bench and Haumole Olakau'atu drops out.

Joel Thompson won't play after having battled a gruesome tongue injury all week. Corey Waddell takes his spot in the starting side. An ACL injury to stand-in fullback Brendan Elliot means Reuben Garrick returns to the back with Jorge Taufua recalled on the wing. Thompson and Morgan Boyle were the two players left out 24 hours before the match.

Cade Cust will play despite some bumps last week, while Jack Gosiewski, who also copped some bruises, is on the bench. Jake Trbojevic has lost all eight NRL games at ANZ Stadium.

Warriors: Paul Turner will make his NRL debut at halfback in changes announced an hour before kick-off. The absence of Chanel Harris-Tavita (concussion) created the opening in the starting side. After Harris-Tavita and Tom Ale also dropped out of the extended squad on Saturday, Josh Curran and Gerard Beale were the two men left out an hour before kick-off.

Hayze Perham gets his first game since round four, pushing Adam Pompey to wing with Patrick Herbert out. Eliesa Katoa is suspended, with Isaiah Papali'i in the second row. The Warriors have lost six of their past seven games at ANZ Stadium.

Knights: Newcastle will start 1-17 after Brodie Jones and Tex Hoy were left out an hour before kick-off. Daniel Saifiti has succumbed to another knee injury with his brother Jacob to start at prop and Pasami Saulo returning on the bench. The Knights have won five of their past seven games on home soil.

Chris Randall and Jirah Momoisea were dropped off the extended bench 24 hours before kick-off.
