Warrior #138 in hearts and minds on return to Bethells Beach
After a few seasons away One New Zealand Warriors players and staff returned to Te Henga/Bethells Beach for the club's traditional sand dunes training session and to pay respect to Warrior #138 Sonny Fai, who tragically passed away there on January 4, 2009.
The New Zealand Warriors honour the mana of the Indigenous peoples of Aotearoa, Australia and the Pacific. We acknowledge the traditional kaitiaki of the lands, elders past and present, their stories, their traditions, their mamae and their mana motuhake.
