Same squad for third-round SG Ball trip to Melbourne

After having last week’s first home match postponed, the One New Zealand Warriors will take an unchanged squad to Melbourne for their third-round SG Ball clash against the Storm on Sunday (11.00am kick-off local time; 1.00pm NZT).

The Adam Blair-coached side had been scheduled to meet Manly Warringah in Pukekohe last Sunday but with Cyclone Gabrielle bearing down on Auckland, the match was deferred until Easter.

The same 17 selected to take on the Sea Eagles is set to line up against the Storm at the Comely Banks Recreation Reserve in Officer, a satellite suburb about 50km from Melbourne’s city centre.

The Storm’s under-19 side had devastating start to the season falling 0-66 to Canberra in the first round but showing marked improvement in a 20-34 loss to the Illawarra Steelers last weekend.

In their first game in the competition in three years, the One New Zealand Warriors opened their campaign with a 10-8 victory over South Sydney.
