The One New Zealand Warriors will be bringing a festival of rugby league entertainment to the nation’s capital when they take their season opener to Wellington on March 3.

Locals will now get their chance to see the boys up close at an open training session on Thursday, March 2 ahead of the round one clash against the Newcastle Knights.

The training run at Sky Stadium will be open to all fans for photos with gates opening at 9.30am. And after the side go through their final preparations, a player signing session will start at 10.45am.

There will be limited seating so fans are encouraged to arrive early, via the stadium's Eastern gate.

Free parking is available in the Outer Plaza and, while food and beverage will not be available to purchase, guests are welcome to bring in their own kai.

Additional fan experiences have been added to game day as well, with a live performance from Kiwi band Zed set to rock Sky Stadium before the 8.00pm kick-off.

Following full time fans will be allowed on the field to take photos and soak up all the round one atmosphere.
