A triple header football feast and Luke Whaanga’s live performance of Ūkaipō headline the One New Zealand Warriors’ first home game day of the season at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday (game day sponsor: One New Zealand).
The football action climaxes with the One New Zealand Warriors, sitting fourth on the NRL ladder after two wins from three starts, facing the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (4.00pm kick-off).
Earlier the club’s SG Ball Cup side takes on the Bulldogs (11.40am kick-off) followed by the New South Wales Cup encounter (1.30pm kick-off).
In the build-up to the main event, Whaanga will be on stage at 3.47pm to perform the powerful self-penned Home/Ūkaipō, the club’s soundtrack for the season launched late last month.
As well as Whaanga there’ll be live entertainment from Vince Harder (3.05pm) and Georgia Lines (3.25pm). Lines will also return to perform at halftime in the NRL match.
