Forward Mitchell Barnett and hooker Wayde Egan will be available for the One New Zealand Warriors’ 14th-round match against the Dolphins at Go Media Stadium Mt Smart next Saturday (June 3).
Barnett has been sidelined for more than two months with a neck injury received in the round three win over the Cowboys.
Egan has been ruled out of tomorrow’s clash against Brisbane in Napier with a minor calf strain but is on track to return next week.
Utility Dylan Walker has a minor displaced toe fracture picked up in training this week but it’s anticipated he’ll be ready to return for the round 15 match against Canberra.
Centre Brayden Wiliame (calf) was cleared this week.
Head of performance Balin Cupples said winger Edward Kosi is making good progress from his medial femoral condyle fracture. He is building into a range of movement and weight bearing activities.
Middle forward Jazz Tevaga (calf) is making solid progress. He was to have further scans to determine a return to weight bearing activity.
Standoff Te Maire Martin had a positive follow-up visit with a specialist this week and is starting weight bearing tasks.
