Hero of the round award for back rower Barnett
After just his fourth match back from a serious neck injury, One New Zealand Warriors second rower Mitchell Barnett has been named the round 19 VB Hard Earned Hero following his exceptional performance in the club's 46-10 blitzing of Parramatta. In one of the best displays of his career he scored his first try for the club and added a second while running 183 metres from 18 carries (68 post-contact metres) with three line breaks, four tackle breaks and 29 tackles without a miss (stats from Rugby League Pro, the NRL's official stats provider).
