Captain Tohu Harris, second rower Mitch Barnett and winger Marcelo Montoya have been recognised in the NRL VB Hard Earned Team of the Week following the One New Zealand Warriors' 46-10 trouncing of Parramatta.
Harris was, as ever, a true soldier leading from the front while Barnett and Montoya made monumental contributions as well.
Despite being limited to 58 minutes on the field, Harris made 172 metres from 18 runs (50 post-contact metres) with a line break, a line break assist, a try assist, three tackle breaks, 30 tackles and no errors. With 90 points, hes was the highest scorer of the round.
Barnett, in just his fourth match back from his serious neck injury, tallied 83 points in his best all-round performance for the club and one of the top displays of his career. He scored his first try for the One New Zealand Warriors and then added a second in a 64-minute contribution which featured 183 metres from 18 runs (68 pots-contact metres), three line breaks, four tackle breaks and 29 tackles without a miss.
Montoya was also exceptional on a night when the back three were all outstanding. He nailed a first half double and made a game-high 204 metres from 16 runs (53 post-contact metres) with two line breaks, a line break assist, five tackle breaks, an off load and no errors.
