ActivePure, a global leader in air and surface purification technology, has today announced an exciting partnership with one of the biggest sporting teams in the country, the One New Zealand Warriors.
The One New Zealand Warriors will become the first NRL club to use ActivePure’s next generation indoor air and surface purification units.
Under the partnership, ActivePure’s portable units will be provided by Big Blue Limited, a major water solutions business and ActivePure’s exclusive partner in Australasia.
The units will be used at the One New Zealand Warriors’ Auckland-based facilities to better protect players, coaches, and staff with cleaner indoor air and surfaces, 24/7/365.
One New Zealand Warriors CEO Cameron George said the club is laser focused on looking at innovative ways the club can ensure best in class health and wellbeing throughout the organisation. ActivePure fits in seamlessly to provide extra layers of protection against transmission of bugs and illness in indoor spaces.
“Partnering with ActivePure comes at an ideal time as we continue to push forward in our 2023 season and beyond,” said George
“We’re all about ensuring top health outcomes for our people and ActivePure is a natural addition to those efforts.
“Being able to access globally leading technology is fantastic but knowing ActivePure is already deployed across New Zealand at scale was a major attraction.”
ActivePure and Big Blue’s Managing Director Paul Wiggans is excited to support the club.
“The One New Zealand Warriors are loved throughout the country and we’ve been really impressed by everyone’s commitment at the club to creating the right environment for the organisation and team to perform at its best. The whole Big Blue team are absolutely delighted to be able to support the Warriors with ActivePure,” said Wiggans.
The last few years has put the spotlight on the need to better safeguard indoor air and surfaces to reduce the risk of infection spread.
“We’ve had huge growth with ActivePure technology as we all look at ways to achieve healthier and cleaner indoor environments where we work, visit, and play in,” said Wiggans.
A wide range of businesses across New Zealand and Australia are already using ActivePure units successfully to combat the spread of germs and illness in all sorts of indoor spaces including offices, meeting rooms, hospitals, hotels, aged-care, retailers, food producers and small businesses.
ActivePure has its roots in NASA space shuttle programmes and following extensive deployments across New Zealand is now available to everyone. The units are fully portable and are proven to provide automated active measures to combat viruses, bacteria, mould, VOCs and fungi. The two key differences that ActivePure technology offers is that it works 24/7 both in the air around you and on your surfaces – continuously sanitising and without the need to draw air past a filter.
ActivePure’s portable units work without any chemical additives, do not produce ozone and are entirely safe to be around 24/7/365.
