The Warriors Community Foundation and Mike King's I Am Hope are teaming up as game day sponsors for the round 26 NRL clash between the One New Zealand Warriors and the St George Illawarra Dragons at Go Media Stadium tomorrow night.
Both charities are focused on supporting the mental wellbeing and achievement of young people in communities across New Zealand.
They’re collaborating at the club’s final regular season home game seeking to raise funds for both organisations to deliver their educational programmes.
Among the game day features will be an auction for a prized One New Zealand Warriors jersey – the hottest item around – in the Corporate Lounge in the East Stand.
There’ll be a Gumboot Challenge during the halftime break in the NRL game while the Warriors Community Foundation and I Am Hope will have merchandise and goodies available in a gazebo in the 95 Social Precinct.
As well as that the foundation is hosting League in Libraries winners in the Stacey Jones Lounge.
One New Zealand Warriors members and fans will have the opportunity to help the foundation and I Am Hope continue their important work by texting LOYAL to 469 (the text code is available only to New Zealand residents).
Alternatively fans can Buy a Brick on the virtual brick wall and become a permanent named feature of the Warriors Community Foundation.
Priced at just $250 and limited to just 200 donors, a virtual brick offers individuals, families or corporates an opportunity to assist in the delivery of both organisations’ programmes.
