One New Zealand Warriors fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is set to miss the opening rounds of the 2024 NRL season.
The Kiwi international has suffered a moderate hamstring strain which is expected to delay his start to the campaign until the round four clash against Newcastle at Go Media Stadium on March 31.
While Nicoll-Klokstad has been sidelined, halfback Shaun Johnson (ankle) and winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (hip) have been cleared to line up in the club’s second Preseason Challenge match against the Dolphins at Go Media Stadium on Saturday.
Winger Edward Kosi (hand) and back rower Demitric Sifakula remain on target for their anticipated returns.
