Maintaining momentum after three straight wins is key for the One New Zealand Warriors when they take on Canberra in Sunday’s seventh-round Harold Matthews Cup (under-17) contest at Pukekohe’s Navigation Homes Stadium.

The match kicks off at the early time of 9.00am with the TJ Ashford-coached home side hunting a vital win to stay in the frame for finals football.

In the last three weeks the Warriors have accounted for South Sydney 22-17, Balmain 16-4 and Illawarra 26-16 to move to a share of fifth place on the ladder on eight points but seventh on points for and against.

The same starting squad used against the Steelers has been named in the quest for a fourth consecutive victory.
