A second consecutive away trip, this time to Canberra, will provide another big test for the One New Zealand Warriors in their return to the Jersey Flegg Cup under-21 competition after a five-year absence.
A week after facing the Storm in Melbourne, the Warriors make the trek over the Tasman again for a Jersey Flegg Cup-New South Wales Cup doubleheader at the Raiders’ original home ground Seiffert Oval on Saturday.
The Flegg teams are up first (2.15pm kick-off NZT) before the NSW Cup sides face each other (4.00pm kick-off NZT).
The Raiders have made a hot start to the 2024 season topping the table after the opening rounds of both the NRL and NSW Cup competitions as well as running second in the Jersey Flegg Cup after a two-from-two start.
After beating Newcastle 30-18 in round one, Canberra blitzed the Wests Tigers 30-0 last weekend.
