Five new injuries have increased the One New Zealand Warriors’ injury count to 10 this week although several players aren’t far from being available again.
Shaun Johnson (pectoral), Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (hamstring), Tohu Harris (hand), Rocco Berry (hand) and Freddy Lussick (concussion) all suffered injuries in last Sunday’s 10th-round loss to the Sydney Roosters.
While Tuivasa-Sheck isn’t expected to be back until round 17, Johnson and Berry are in line to return after the club’s round 13 bye for the June 8 away game against the Cowboys while Lussick will be available for the home game against the Dolphins in round 12. Harris' return date is yet to be confirmed
Halfback Chanel Harris-Tavita (calf) is also set for a round 12 return while Marata Niukore (foot) and Kurt Capewell (calf) are in line to come back after the bye.
