While hooker Wayde Egan and centre Ali Leiataua have joined the injured list, five players have been cleared to return to action this week.
Egan is following NRL concussion protocols after failing to return from an early head knock against Penrith last Sunday and Leiataua suffered an ankle injury which will sideline him for several weeks.
On the positive side of the ledger, centre Rocco Berry (hand) comes back after a one-match absence for Sunday’s Indigenous Round encounter with the Dolphins while Freddy Lussick (concussion) is named at hooker and second rower Marata Niukore returns on the interchange after a lengthy absence with a foot injury.
Also included in the extended squad is utility Chanel Harris-Tavita, who has missed the last five games after suffering a calf injury in the round 11 match against Manly Warringah on April 13.
While those four players are back, a long wait is also over for 2023 NRL rookie Demitric Sifakula who has been cleared to line up for the club’s New South Wales Cup side on Sunday.
Sifakula made three NRL appearances last year but suffered a devastating season-ending ACL knee injury in a New South Wales Cup match in August.
