As the One New Zealand Warriors eye an unprecedented grand slam of home game sellouts, Go Media has extended its agreement with Auckland Stadiums to continue as naming rights partner of Mt Smart Stadium for at least four more years.
Go Media agreed a one-year deal in May last year as the One New Zealand Warriors set out on an extraordinary run which has seen them sell out 13 of their last 14 NRL games at Go Media Stadium.
With limited tickets remaining for their last three home games in 2024, the One New Zealand Warriors are on track to sell out every match at their home ground this year, a feat never before achieved by any club in the NRL’s history.
Coinciding with the boom, Auckland Stadiums and Go Media have confirmed the naming rights partnership has been extended until 2028.
“Go Media Stadium is an iconic Auckland venue that has proven its credentials as a mid-sized stadium with a great atmosphere time and again,” said Tātaki Auckland Unlimited Stadiums director James Parkinson.

“The One New Zealand Warriors have been the cornerstone of our sporting content over the last 30 years with our rich sporting history also featuring All Blacks, Black Ferns, Kiwis, and All Whites international matches.”
Under the terms of the new agreement, Go Media has committed to significant further investment into the venue including exploring opportunities to install a second large replay screen at Go Media Stadium to elevate the matchday experience further.
“Go Media’s naming rights partnership has coincided with an unbelievable time in the Warriors’ history,” said One New Zealand Warriors CEO Cameron George.
“It’s exciting for us knowing Go Media has extended its agreement and is committed to working with Auckland Stadiums to further enhance the venue.
“As a club we love our game days at Go Media Stadium and our fans have shown over and over what they think about it, too. There’s no place like it when the Warriors are at home.”
Parkinson added the partnership with Go Media Stadium and the length of the new multi-year agreement showed the commercial confidence in the venue from a 100% Kiwi-owned business in the private sector.
Crowds have totalled almost 394,000 in the Warriors’ last 17 NRL games at Go Media Stadium, an average of almost 23,200 a match.
