The One New Zealand Warriors' historic Las Vegas 2025 match against Canberra will be given unprecedented mass exposure in the United States through the free-to-air Fox broadcast network.
The National Rugby League has confirmed the match will be broadcast live in the United States on Fox, which has a distribution of 125 million homes in the United States.
It will be the first time a National Rugby League premiership game has been broadcast on a free-to-air network in the States.
The Panthers-Sharks clash and the Australia-England women’s Test match will both be televised on FS1 in the US with the Wigan-Warrington Super League encounter on FOX Soccer Plus.
Australian Rugby League Commission chair Peter V‘landys said the decision to place the NRL Las Vegas Festival live on Fox’s premier channel was a visionary move from the network.
“The support we have had from Fox in the US and Australia for this venture has been truly remarkable," he said.
"Together we share the bold ambition for what is possible for rugby league in the US and across the world.
“Las Vegas in 2025 will give rugby league never-before-seen mass exposure in the US market, allowing us to showcase Super League, NRL and international athletes and win new fans.”
NRL CEO Andrew Abdo said the decision by Fox to televise all four matches of the historic quadruple header was a vote of confidence in the NRL’s US strategy.
“We are grateful for the shared vision we have from Fox on the potential for rugby league in the US and the belief and backing for what will be a bigger, bolder and better festival of rugby league in Las Vegas 2025,” he said.
The quadruple-header will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 1, 2025 (local time) and broadcast live to Australia and New Zealand (Sunday. March 2).
Individual general public tickets, purchased outside of travel packages, are now on sale via nrl.com/vegas.
