Kiwi international Kieran Foran became the seventh New Zealander – and the sixth former Warrior – to make 300 NRL appearances when he led the Gold Coast Titans against St George Illawarra in Wollongong on Sunday.
The 34-year-old Foran moved into the 300 club alongside former Kiwi captains Benji Marshall, Jesse Bromwich, Adam Blair, Ruben Wiki and Simon Mannering plus Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.
Foran started his 16-season NRL career as a 19-year-old with Manly Warringah (147 games, 2009-2015) on a journey which was followed by stints with Parramatta (9 games, 2016), the One New Zealand Warriors (17 games, 2017), Canterbury Bankstown (40 games, 2018-2020), back to Manly (49 games, 2021-2022) and then to his current destination Gold Coast (38 games, 2023-2024).
His club debut as Warrior #217 was a try-scoring one against the Titans on April 2, 2017.
Foran, who becomes the 53rd 300-player in history, follows Blair (331 games), Ryan Hoffman (325), Steve Price (313), Wiki (311) and Mannering (301) as former Warriors to reach the milestone.
Two other New Zealand-born players – James Tamou (307) and Josh Papalii (301) – are also on the list but both aligned themselves with Australia.
