Nomads Golf Club tees up support for foundation

Putting for dough will take on special meaning when this year’s Nomads Golf Day is held to support the Warriors Community Foundation at the North Shore Golf Club in Auckland on Thursday, December 12.

The Nomads club is using its golf day to raise funds to support the foundation’s life-changing programmes for youth wellbeing and education across New Zealand.

Teams can register now to be involved in a day combining the enjoyment of being out on the course while providing vital backing for an important community cause.

Proceeds from the day will support the Warriors Community Foundation’s Voice Against Violence and League in Libraries programmes, dedicated to creating safe, supportive communities and fostering a love of literacy among tamariki.

“Nomads Golf NZ Charitable Trust is thrilled to be partnering with the Warriors Community Foundation, the charitable trust that sits alongside the One New Zealand Warriors,” said Nomads club captain Wayne Scholtz.

“We recognise and value the efforts that Lincoln and his team put in on a daily basis and the positive changes they bring to the community which align to our values as Nomads.”

Warriors Community Foundation CEO Lincoln Jefferson said the organisation was honoured to be the beneficiary of this year’s Nomads Golf Day.

“Events like this bring vital support to our programmes and create a positive impact for families and communities across New Zealand,” he said.

“A heartfelt thanks to Wayne, Ryan, Bennie, and all the Nomads Golf Club members for their support and dedication.”

Teams can register here and find out about sponsorship opportunities.
