Milestones in the offing in 2025

Two 250-game milestones and four 150-match landmarks are possibilities for One New Zealand Warriors players during the 2025 NRL season.

Captain Tohu Harris starts his 13th season 16 games short of his 250th career appearance while the same target is 21 games away for middle forward Dylan Walker, who’s also heading into his 13th NRL campaign.

The 150 mark is 12 games away for local product Bunty Afoa, the longest-serving Warrior left in the squad following Shaun Johnson’s retirement and Jazz Tevaga’s departure. The 28-year-old Afoa started his first-grade career in 2016.

The same career mark is 18 games away for second rower Marata Niukore, whose 96 matches for Parramatta have been followed by 36 for the Warriors over the last two years.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will open his 12th NRL year sitting on 213 career appearances but 21 games away from becoming the 13th player to clock up 150 outings for the One New Zealand Warriors alone.

Having reached his 100th milestone for the Warriors in the final round of the 2024 season, hooker Wayde Egan is 21 games short of cracking 150 matches in total ahead of his eighth campaign.

Returning Warrior Erin Clark could lock in his 100th game just five matches into the season while centre Adam Pompey is six games off becoming the 31st player in history to achieve the 100-game feat for the Warriors.

Halfback Te Maire Martin needs seven more outings to clock up 100 career appearances.
