After their first loss of the season last week, the One New Zealand Warriors will seek to rebound immediately when they face Melbourne in their fifth-round Harold Matthews Cup (under-17) encounter at Navigation Homes Stadium in Pukekohe on Sunday (11.00am kick-off).

The outcome of round five games played on Saturday has seen the Warriors slip out of the top six to sit seventh but a win over the Storm would push them back to at least sixth spot.

Melbourne may bring poor form into the game having lost all four of their games to Illawarra (6-42), South Sydney (18-24), North Sydney (24-36) and Manly Warringah (4-22) but that makes them more desperate to get off the mark for the season.

The Warriors are taking a much-changed lineup into the match following their 16-22 loss to Illawarra.

Two new starting wingers Jacksyn Hill and Kaian Olsen have been selected and Ashton Ulaula-Ieremia returns at halfback. He scored two tries and kicked four goals in the round one win over the Sea Eagles but has been on the injured list since.

There’s also a change in the centres where Parekaahu Keepa comes back into the side.

Tyson Hansen is switched to loose forward with Ronan Byford moved into the front row.
