Several changes have been made to the One New Zealand Warriors’ squad for their sixth-round SG Ball Cup (under-19) encounter with the Western Suburbs Magpies at Kirkham Oval in Sydney on Sunday (11.30am kick-off local time; 1.30pm NZT).

The Warriors will run a new centres combination with Hiraka Waitai-Haenga – used in both the centres and the second row so far – paired with Otago Boys’ High School product Mason Lome-Hindle. The southerner made his SG Ball debut on the wing against Illawarra in round four and was used there again against Melbourne last Sunday.

His move sees another South Islander Meihana Pauling – out of St Thomas of Canterbury College – coming in on the wing.

The prolific Connor Bowden stays on the other wing – he has six tries in four games – with 2024 Harold Matthews Cup premiership winner Joseph Ratcliffe at fullback while Noah Jensen and Maui Winitana-Patelesio again team up in the halves.
