On the back of last year’s record-breaking commercial performance, the surge in support for the One New Zealand Warriors has picked up where it left off for the club’s 30th anniversary season.

In 2024 the Warriors sold out all hospitality options before the season started and they went on to become the first club in NRL history to sell out every home game.

That was matched by record merchandise sales and huge growth in membership numbers.

The start to 2025 has continued the trend. Every hospitality offering – game day lounges, suites and booths – was snapped up well in advance of the season starting sparking the One New Zealand Warriors to create a new hospitality venue (the Speight’s Clubhouse); it will be open for business for the first time when the 2025 home campaign starts against Manly Warringah at Go Media Stadium on Friday night (8.00pm kick-off).

Crowd numbers have boomed as well, kicking off with an attendance of 23,344 for the One New Zealand Warriors’ Preseason Challenge clash against Melbourne at FMG Stadium Waikato on February 15.

That’s the biggest crowd in history for a Warriors trial and was some three times more than the next best attendance for any 2025 NRL trial.

Then on March 1 the Warriors faced Canberra in front of a crowd of 45,209 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, a record first-round attendance for a match involving the One New Zealand Warriors.

Now 24 hours from kick-off against Sea Eagles tomorrow night, the club is on track for a near capacity crowd.

“The way members, fans and the corporate sector have again got behind the club is nothing less than exceptional,” said Glenn Harris, One New Zealand Warriors chief operating officer commercial and marketing.

“The passion and energy they show for the team and the club is so humbling.”

The club’s faithful have another Friday night lights experience to look forward to tomorrow week when the Warriors host the Sydney Roosters.

Ticket sales are strong for that match as they are for a number of other home games, especially those against the Broncos (April 19) and the Panthers (June 21) as well as the Anzac Round fixture at Christchurch’s Apollo Projects Stadium against Newcastle.
