Two changes have been made to the One New Zealand Warriors’ starting side for their third-round New South Wales Cup match against the Sydney Roosters at Go Media Stadium on Friday night (5.15pm).

The Warriors, unbeaten in the first two rounds, have lost hooker Sam Healey (shoulder) but they’re able to call on ample experience in replacement Freddy Lussick.

The 24-yeard-old Lussick, used off the bench in the NSW Cup wins against Western Suburbs and Manly, has made 48 NRL appearances, 37 of them for the Warriors.

With Lussick moved up from the bench, Makaia Tafua is promoted from the club’s Jersey Flegg Cup under-21 side to sit on the interchange.

The other change to the starting side sees Eddie Ieremia-Toeava back in the second row after being 18th man for the NRL team against the Sea Eagles last Friday night.

After battling to beat the Raiders 18-16 in round one, the Warriors had to recover from an early 0-12 deficit to topple the Sea Eagles 31-20; they’re one of only three teams to win their first two matches.

The Roosters started with a win over North Sydney before a 10-38 defeat by Penrith last week.

Friday night’s match will be the third outing for centre Rocco Berry in his return from a long-term shoulder injury. After playing for 40 minutes against the Magpies, he was on the field for 80 against Manly making 103 metres from nine runs with a line break, a try assist, two line break assists and two tackle breaks.
