An intriguing contest to finish the round with the Wests Tigers and the One New Zealand Warriors both boasting back-to-back victories after disappointing defeats to start the season.

With their first-choice spine of Jahream Bula, Lachie Galvin, Jarome Luai and Api Koroisau on the paddock the Tigers have piled on 62 points in wins over the Eels and Dolphins, giving their long-suffering fans cause for optimism.

The Warriors have bounced back from a defeat in Las Vegas to roll heavyweights Manly and the Roosters in front of the Go Media Stadium faithful and now look to take that form on the road.

In recent times it has been the Warriors well and truly holding the advantage with seven wins in a row against Wests Tigers dating back to 2020.

If Andrew Webster's men are to continue that streak they have to do so without winger Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and recalled centre Rocco Berry, both out with hamstring injuries.

Team news

Wests Tigers: Blockbusting winger Jeral Skelton has been ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury against the Dolphins. Solomona Faataape is the player called in to replace Skelton. Back rower Samuela Fainu came off early at Kayo Stadium but he is good to go.

One New Zealand Warriors: Bunty Afoa is set to join the bench after Dylan Walker was granted an immediate release on compassionate grounds on Wednesday. Adam Pompey reverts to the centres after initially being chosen to replace Roger Tuivasa-Sheck on the wing, with Ed Kosi coming into the side. Rocco Berry (hamstring), who had been named in the centres for his first game of the season after overcoming a shoulder injury, is the player to make way for Kosi.
